Hmm, I can't say I'm ecstatic over the two new classes, but to be fair, you don't know until you try it. I'm looking forward to the preview event to try them out. I'm not exactly thrilled with the models either. They look recycled to me. But who knows? Right?

First off, this is a different dev team with potentially different views on when to beta test, unlike factions relatively short notice. Im glad they are allowing us to try it this early. I doubt its a worried move by anet to keep players in the game. Is it marketing? of course it is, its the summer, more people have time in the summer, its good planning.

Second, why is this only on the euro site, and not on the american? curiouser and curiouser, are only europeans getting the preview event? I hope not! Quell my fears anet, quell my fears! I WANT TO PLAY THE PARAGON!

Spears!! O.o Well I had said to myself before that I wasn't going to buy Chapter 3 unless there were going to be spears, but this says the Paragon will be throwing spears I was hoping for melee spears/glaives like in Silkroad But who knows, mayhaps there will be a bit of melee spearing anyway. The Dervish, though, looks quite interesting in those armours. From just that short article though you can't really tell though if the classes will be a success, so it will be fun testing it out on the PvP Preview.

The probably will be using the same basic models, just using different armor and new faces/hairtypes. Why build from scratch when you have a good base to build on? On that note, i hope the animations for the Dervish and Paragon stand out like how the Sin/Rit's fighting animations stand out. I dont mind them having same basic emotes (unique dance) but in battle, i better be able to tell them apart.

I hope the choice of faces are better -.o

It's a game people leave it's nothing new, a lot will be back and a lot still buy the game - don't belive some disgruntled wammo's represent the commmunity and people leaving obviously will be much more likely to post in such a thread.

Personally I haven't played in a while, but I didn't leave - I think a lot of people feel that way.

So now there are 9 classes? Thats like 72 different combinations.

I sincerely hope that they get the dervish class right, and that there are equal roles for the warriors/dervishes/assassins to play. Same with the support Rits and Paragons.

From the armors they've posted so far, it looks like I'll be able to make both of my new characters male In the past I had to base my gender decision on my tolerance of ugly in the armors.

Now my only question is...what will the special event headpiece look like for the 24hour early access of Nightfall. [hopes]Will we get headpieces similar to the Egyptian god heads like Ra or whatever that god is with the slim dog head? (I think it's the god of death or something) O.o [/hopes]

I really like the Paragon concept. Hopefully Dervish has something special to make it stand out and not be a whammo / ammo -clone.

But seriously these classes are gonna be great I think. I like them both alot more than the assassin and ritualist, at least by description. We'll see how tehy play. I can't wait.

On a side note I hope I don't have to delete one of my six characters to create a temp pvp char just to try them out...

Hopefully they will release the new character slots this week. *prays*
